The chill is definitely in the air, and it feels like I've blinked and summer ended. The move ate up the majority of my warm, sunny days, but I'm okay with that, given that the change has been nothing but positive. As it stands, I begin a new career as of Monday, which I'm really, really excited about.

This is my backyard, I love looking out from the kitchen window.

And here's part of our pepper harvest. We're all pepper crazy over here.
And now finally, I actually managed to complete some crafts! I was definitely feeling pretty deprived there for a while. I'm just now managing to dig through the rubble of boxes in the living room to uncover crafty artifacts.

Funky tree. It's where funk comes from. Yes, funk does grow on trees.

Here's a blanket I made for Jon's favourite chair, to protect it from stray cat hair. See, it's working!

This was supposed to be a runner. I ran out of yarn.
And that's pretty much it! I've definitely been a lot more productive over the last three weeks than over the course of the last few months.
